Psychiatrist sessions for Man City forward; talent made aware of future prospects under Guardiola

Category: Uncategorized

Manchester City‘s Raheem Sterling is understood to have undergone a series of psychiatrist sessions as he looks to get his confidence back ahead of the European Championships.

According to the Mirror, the England forward—who has endured a testing season in the Premier League—has sought the help of psychiatrist Dr. Steve Peters as he look to rediscover his form ahead of Euro 2016.

21-year-old Sterling featured 31 times in the EPL this season—of which 23 were starts—although he only managed a disappointing return of six goals and two assists, as he struggled to repay the faith shown in him by the Citizens.

Despite his struggles, Sterling has been named in Roy Hodgson’s provisional squad ahead of the European Championships, and appears well placed to make the final 23.

Both Hodgson and Sterling will be hoping that Peters’ guidance can help the attacker rediscover his best form.
